I recently stayed at Shearwater Studio Apt in Unionhall for a week-long vacation. The room was spacious and well-maintained, offering breathtaking views of the bay. I loved spending time on the large patio, taking in the panoramic scenery while enjoying a coffee or a good book. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the village where I could explore local pubs. It was a great base to discover the beautiful gems of West Cork. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and even offered us a delicious breakfast despite not having it included in our stay. I had a lovely and peaceful experience that I highly recommend.
I do recommend this hotel.

The view from this apartment is stunning, perfect for those wanting to be close to the beach. the apartment is beautifully decorated and the bed is very comfortable. the owner went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, even ironing my dress and dropping me off at my business meeting. the Irish/Scottish hospitality is fantastic. I highly recommend this apartment and the B+B.
Felt safe walking at night, no complaints whatsoever.

I had a blast hiking and fishing in the area, and the complimentary WiFi allowed me to post all my amazing photos. The private parking was a lifesaver, considering my parking skills are non-existent. And let's not forget the beautiful sea views from the terrace!
Oh, just loved the sound of trickling water keeping me awake all night. So relaxing.

The studio apartment at Shearwater was absolutely charming! The cozy bedroom made me feel right at home, and the fully equipped kitchenette was a game changer for a budget backpacker like me. The flat-screen TV was an added bonus, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. And let's not forget about the lovely patio with garden views - the peaceful atmosphere was simply delightful!
I must admit, the only thing I wasn't too keen on was having only one bathroom. But hey, that's just my personal opinion, and I'm sure others would still find it perfectly sufficient.

I absolutely loved the lovely decor in the apartment. It was so tastefully done and created a warm and cozy atmosphere. The general areas of the hotel were also very well-maintained and clean. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible with no stairs or obstacles to navigate. It made my stay all the more comfortable and enjoyable.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is if the children working there could provide some assistance with carrying luggage. It would be a great help for those of us who may have trouble with heavy bags.

The apartment at Shearwater Studio Apt was absolutely fantastic! The bedroom was cozy and comfortable, with soft bed linen that made us feel right at home. The bathroom was clean and tidy, and the towels provided were fluffy and fresh. We loved having a flat-screen TV in the living area, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The kitchenette was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our meals with ease. And the cherry on top? The patio with stunning garden views – a serene spot to enjoy our morning coffee. We couldn't have asked for more!
Personally, we found the apartment's fully equipped kitchenette to be a bit small. But hey, that's just our opinion – some might still find it perfectly functional and enjoyable.

Located near a picturesque bay, Shearwater Studio Apt offers a comfortable and clean room with stunning views. the spacious patio provides a tranquil spot to enjoy a book or a cup of coffee. With a short 8-minute walk to the village, it's a convenient base for exploring the charming town and surrounding gems of West Cork. the host's high level of hospitality shines through, as they went above and beyond to accommodate guests, even offering to iron clothes and provide transportation.
While the studio apartment lacks the ability to cook large meals, this limitation is clearly explained in the description.
